The 2026 WNBA Draft featured a historic night for UCLA as a record six Bruins were selected, including three in the top ten.
However, the spotlight remained on Azzi Fudd, who secured a $500,000 rookie contract under the league's new collective bargaining agreement.
Commissioner Cathy Engelbert presided over the event at Hudson Yards, which saw salaries skyrocket compared to previous years.
The draft also marked the inaugural picks for expansion teams in Portland and Toronto.
