Missing documentary Oscar found

An Oscar statuette belonging to Russian director Pavel Talankin has been found after it went missing following a flight from New York to Germany.

TSA agents at JFK had previously removed the award from Talankin's carry-on bag, claiming it 'could be used as a weapon.' Lufthansa Airlines confirmed the statuette was located following an airport mix-up and is being returned to the director.

The award was for Talankin's documentary 'Mr Nobody Against Putin,' which has received international acclaim.
