Mexican Mafia raids in California

In a series of pre-dawn raids, federal agents have dismantled a significant portion of the Mexican Mafia's leadership structure in California.

The operation resulted in 35 arrests and the seizure of large quantities of fentanyl, which authorities estimate to be equivalent to five million lethal doses.

FBI Director Kash Patel announced the raids, describing the group as a 'gang of gangs' that has terrorized communities for decades.
