Ukraine reopens Druzhba oil pipeline

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Druzhba pipeline is once again operational, removing a major point of contention between Ukraine and its Central European neighbors.

The pipeline's closure in January had led Hungary to block a massive EU financial aid package, citing energy security concerns.

With oil flows resuming, EU envoys are meeting in Brussels with the expectation that Hungary will finally lift its veto on the €90 billion loan.

This development is seen as vital for stabilizing Ukraine's war-ravaged economy and maintaining its defense against Russian forces.
