Pope Leo XIV visits Angola
Tens of thousands of faithful gathered to hear the Pope's message, which has been characterized by a new, more forceful speaking style during his trip.
The visit is the third leg of a tour that has also included stops in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Gambia.
Leo's remarks come as parts of the continent continue to struggle with political instability and economic inequality.
The Vatican has stated that the Pope's mission is to promote peace, reconciliation, and the protection of the most vulnerable members of society.
