White House Ballroom Construction Resumes
The Trump administration argued that the completion of the ornate ballroom is essential for the safety and security of the president.
A three-judge panel instructed a lower court to clarify how suspending the project might interfere with these security plans.
The project has faced legal challenges from critics who claim it requires congressional approval and is an unnecessary expense.
Construction is now permitted to continue until at least April 17 as the legal battle over the Gilded Age structure continues.
