Putin Admits Fuel Deficit After Ukraine Drone Strikes

Russian President Vladimir Putin admitted for the first time that the country is experiencing fuel shortages after Ukrainian drone attacks targeted oil refineries.

The strikes hit the Slavyansk-na-Kubani plant in the Krasnodar region and a facility in Yaroslavl, disrupting domestic production.

The acknowledgment came as Ukrainian forces have systematically hit nearly every major refinery in European Russia, forcing plants to cut output.

The attacks have become a key tool in Ukraine’s campaign to degrade Russia’s war effort.
