Ronaldo loses AFC final

Cristiano Ronaldo suffered more heartbreak as his Saudi club Al Nassr were stunned 1-0 by Japan's Gamba Osaka in the AFC Champions League Two final.

The defeat extends Ronaldo's wait for his first major trophy in Saudi Arabia.

The 41-year-old icon was visibly devastated at the final whistle and reportedly refused to collect his runners-up medal.

The loss marks the second time in a week that Al Nassr has missed out on a piece of major silverware.
