Haaland Scores Twice on Norway World Cup Return

Erling Haaland made a spectacular World Cup debut, scoring a first-half brace to power Norway to a 4-1 victory over Iraq in their return to the tournament after 28 years.

The win put Norway top of Group I, level with France.

Iraq striker Aymen Hussein scored a consolation goal in his own World Cup debut after being detained by US customs on his way to the tournament.

Norway fans celebrated by doing a 'Viking Row' up an escalator en route to the match.
