Man City Name Enzo Maresca as Guardiola Successor

Manchester City confirmed Enzo Maresca as the club’s new manager, succeeding Pep Guardiola this summer.

The 46-year-old Italian, who was Guardiola’s assistant during City’s treble-winning season, signed a three-year contract.

Chelsea released a scathing statement accusing Maresca of engineering the move, but the deal was finalized after City agreed to pay compensation.

Maresca said he knows the ‘demands and expectations’ and aims to play good football while winning.
