UK Economy Shows Surprise Growth

Official data from the Office for National Statistics revealed that the UK's gross domestic product grew by 0.5% month-on-month in February.

This surprise uptick followed a revised 0.1% growth in January, suggesting the economy was gaining momentum early in the year.

Despite the positive figures, Chancellor Rachel Reeves and independent analysts caution that the Middle East conflict has since introduced major uncertainties.
