UK Pledges £250m to Protect Jewish Communities

The UK government announced £250 million in funding to boost security for Jewish communities following a spate of antisemitic attacks.

The package includes extra police, anti-terrorism units, and educational programmes.

The funding will be rolled out over three years, with more than 500 officers deployed outside synagogues and Jewish schools.

The move comes amid rising antisemitism across Europe and a separate incident of weapons found near a Paris synagogue.
