Artemis II lunar flyby success
The four-member crew of the Orion spacecraft has concluded its primary lunar objectives, setting a new record for human distance from Earth.
During their journey around the moon's far side, the astronauts captured stunning high-resolution images of impact craters and a rare solar eclipse.
The mission is a critical test flight for NASA's broader goal of returning humans to the lunar surface in the coming years.
The crew is now on a multi-day journey back to Earth, with a scheduled splashdown in the Pacific Ocean this Friday.
