Lebanese Journalist Killed by Israel
The death of Khalil brings the total number of media workers killed by Israel in Lebanon to fourteen since the conflict began in March.
Lebanon’s president and prime minister have formally accused the Israeli military of a war crime, stating that the targeting of journalists is no longer an isolated incident.
Her colleague, Zeinab Faraj, was also seriously injured in the attack and remains hospitalized.
Israel has denied intentionally targeting the press, claiming the strike was aimed at nearby military infrastructure.
