AOC Endorses Lefty Slate

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has thrown her political weight behind three progressive candidates running in the upcoming New York primary elections.

The endorsed slate includes Eon Huntley, Christian Celeste Tate, and David Orkin, all of whom are active members of the Democratic Socialists of America.

The candidates are campaigning on a platform that includes the decriminalization of sex work, universal basic income trials, and a significant expansion of tenant protections.

AOC's endorsement is expected to energize the progressive base and intensify the intra-party battle between the democratic socialist wing and the establishment wing of the New York Democratic Party.
