Ukraine’s Prime Minister Steps Down

Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko resigned on Sunday as President Volodymyr Zelensky announced a major government reshuffle, saying the country was ‘changing its political strategy’.

The shake-up comes as Ukraine’s military gains momentum and seeks to accelerate winter preparedness.

Svyrydenko is widely expected to become Kyiv's ambassador to the United States.
