2026 solar eclipse – where and how to watch safely
Astronomers say the eclipse will be the deepest in the UK for more than half a century, with totality lasting up to two minutes in parts of Scotland and northern England.
The agency recommends certified solar‑filter glasses and advises against looking directly at the Sun with regular lenses.
