Greer defends Trump trade policy

In a comprehensive testimony, Jamieson Greer outlined the administration's strategy to use trade policy as a tool for national security and economic sovereignty.

The hearing addressed the fallout from the Supreme Court's decision to strike down broad emergency tariffs, with Greer explaining the shift toward more targeted trade actions.

He emphasized that the U.S. will continue to push for concessions from major trading partners, including Canada and Mexico, as part of the upcoming CUSMA review.

Greer also highlighted the administration's efforts to counter China's dominance in the electric vehicle and green energy supply chains.
