Legendary singer Asha Bhosle dies

Asha Bhosle, one of India's most iconic vocalists, died on Sunday following multi-organ failure after a heart attack.

She recorded over 12,000 songs in multiple languages and was celebrated for her collaborations with composers like R.D. Burman.

Tributes have poured in from across the globe, with Bollywood stars and politicians honoring her as the 'soul of music.' She will be bid a final farewell with full state honors at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
