Zelenskyy Pleads for Patriot Missiles

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has issued an urgent appeal to the Trump administration for additional Patriot air defense systems to counter a surge in Russian ballistic missile strikes.

In a formal letter to the White House, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine relies almost exclusively on American technology to protect its major cities from high-speed aerial threats.

He warned that current ammunition stockpiles are critically low after months of sustained bombardment, leaving the country's energy infrastructure and civilian centers vulnerable.

The plea comes as European allies struggle to keep pace with the production demands required to sustain Ukraine's defensive capabilities.
