The overnight strikes primarily targeted the capital city of Kyiv, as well as Odesa and Dnipro, causing widespread fires and significant damage to residential buildings.
Ukrainian officials reported that the attack involved nearly 700 drones and dozens of ballistic missiles, marking a sharp escalation in the conflict.
Among the victims was a five-year-old boy, highlighting the severe human toll of the continued bombardment of urban centers.
