Russian Missile Strikes Kill Civilians in Ukraine

Russian forces launched ballistic missile attacks on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, killing civilians and wounding dozens.

The strikes came as Romania shot down a Russian drone that had penetrated its airspace for the third time in three days.

Ukraine also struck back, with air attacks killing two people and wounding 17 in Russia’s southern cities of Rostov-on-Don and Belgorod.

The renewed violence underscored the relentless toll on civilians as diplomatic efforts continued.
