Ryanair Baggage Rule Change
The budget airline is responding to increasingly long queues at European airports caused by the rollout of the EU's new Entry/Exit System (EES).
Ryanair is also in the process of installing self-service bag-drop kiosks at 95% of its operational airports by October to streamline the process.
Travelers who fail to comply with the new 60-minute rule risk being denied boarding without a refund.
The airline has also warned it could cancel all flights to certain holiday hotspots like Malta if border check delays continue to worsen.
