House Ethics probes sexual misconduct

The committee published a comprehensive list of 28 House members investigated for sexual misconduct dating back to 1976.

This move comes in the wake of the sudden resignations of Representatives Eric Swalwell and Tony Gonzales following allegations of assault and harassment.

The panel committed to helping secure a harassment-free workplace but acknowledged legal limits that can sometimes leave offenses unaddressed.
