Millions Mourn Khamenei at Tehran Funeral

Millions of Iranians lined the streets of Tehran as a funeral procession for slain Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei began on Monday, amid calls for revenge against the United States and Israel.

The ceremonies, part of a week-long state funeral, are a display of regime resilience following the US-Israeli airstrikes that killed him in February.

Mourners chanted 'Death to Trump' and offered bounties for the heads of Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu.

The new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, was notably absent from the procession, while Israeli security officials warned that the funeral could stoke renewed military confrontation.
