RFK Jr. grilled on vaccines and budget

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s tenure as HHS Secretary is under fire as he defends President Trump's fiscal 2027 budget requests.

During back-to-back hearings, Kennedy was pressed by both Republicans and Democrats on his response to the worsening measles crisis and his stance on the MMR vaccine.

He attempted to distance himself from previous anti-vaccine rhetoric, claiming to support standard childhood immunizations on behalf of his department.

However, his explanations for significant cuts to the NIH and other preventive health programs left many lawmakers unsatisfied.
