Nepal flash floods kill 168, hundreds missing
A massive glacial collapse in the Himalayas sent a tsunami of ice, rock, and water sweeping through the Nepal-Tibet border region, killing at least 168 people and leaving hundreds missing.
The US Geological Survey confirmed that seismic activity detected in the area was caused by the glacial collapse rather than an earthquake.
Rescue operations are ongoing, with Nepali authorities, the EU's satellite surveillance system, and teams from India and other nations assisting in the search.
Families of missing tourists, including dozens of Britons, are desperately seeking information as the death toll continues to rise.
