EU Unveils $1 Billion Gaza Aid

The European Union and partners launched a $1 billion 'Team Gaza Initiative' to support early recovery efforts after the war.

The package will fund water, sanitation, debris removal and health systems.

However, a United Nations official said Hamas was obstructing aid distribution in Gaza, with armed personnel raiding humanitarian operations and forcing the World Food Programme to suspend work in one part of the enclave.

Hamas disputed the UN accusations, claiming it facilitated aid delivery.
