Atiku Wins Edo ADC Primary

Atiku Abubakar has won the Edo State chapter of the African Democratic Congress presidential primary, marking another key victory in his bid for the party's nomination.

Atiku polled 17,729 votes, comfortably defeating Rotimi Amaechi and Mohammed Hayatu-Deen in the exercise.

Local ADC officials praised the conduct of the primary, though national factional disputes continue to cloud the overall selection process.

This win strengthens Atiku's position as the frontrunner ahead of the final collation of results in Abuja.
