Artemis II Crew Shares Reflections

NASA's Artemis II crew, including Commander Reid Wiseman and mission specialists Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and Jeremy Hansen, shared profound insights into their lunar flyby during a briefing at the Johnson Space Center.

They detailed the intense physical sensations of re-entry and the awe-inspiring sight of Earth from deep space, which they said fostered a renewed sense of global unity.

The mission, the first crewed trip to the lunar vicinity since 1972, is being hailed as a critical success that paves the way for a crewed Moon landing in the next two years.

Commander Wiseman also spoke emotionally about the naming of a Moon crater in honor of his late wife during the flight.
