Artemis II astronauts return home

NASA's Artemis II crew, consisting of three Americans and one Canadian, has returned to Texas to celebrate the completion of humanity's first lunar voyage in over 50 years.

The mission set a record for deep-space travel and provided a massive 'jackpot' of scientific data for researchers.

During a jubilant homecoming event, the astronauts shared emotional reflections on the fragility of Earth and the tight bond formed during their flyby.

NASA is now shifting focus to Artemis III, which will involve practicing orbital docking maneuvers next year.
