Fuel Protests Paralyze Ireland

Ireland is facing significant transport disruption as farmers and truckers continue to blockade key routes into Dublin and other major cities.

The protesters are demanding a substantial reduction in fuel taxes to offset the price hikes caused by the ongoing war in the Middle East.

While the government has announced a half-billion euro aid package, the move has failed to quell the unrest, with Sinn Féin preparing a motion of no confidence.

Protesters have warned that the blockades will continue until their demands for more significant relief are met.
