DWP told to tighten PIP eligibility criteria

The DWP has been told to be 'tighter' with PIP eligibility criteria ahead of the final Timms Review report due this autumn.

Labour leader Andy Burnham has also been urged to treat mental health conditions 'differently' for PIP assessments.

The review is expected to recommend significant changes to the benefits system.
