Woman raped outside Surrey church

An 'extremely distressing' incident has left the community of Epsom in shock following a brutal sexual assault near the Methodist Church on Ashley Road.

The victim reported that she was followed by a group of men after leaving the Labyrinth nightclub before being attacked.

Detectives are currently reviewing CCTV footage and have appealed for witnesses to come forward with any information.

The police have increased patrols in the area as they work to identify the suspects involved in the coordinated attack.
