Ukraine Reopens Druzhba Pipeline

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Druzhba pipeline is ready to resume operations after a three-month hiatus caused by Russian attacks.

The move allows Ukraine to fulfill its transit obligations while securing critical financial support from the EU. However, the resumption of Russian oil flows puts Kyiv in a delicate political position as it continues to push for tighter energy sanctions.

EU officials expect the first tranche of the massive loan to be delivered by early June, providing a vital boost to Ukraine's wartime economy.
