DHS worker killed in Atlanta
The suspect, identified as Olaolukitan Adon Abel, allegedly shot and stabbed Lauren Bullis while she was walking her dog on Monday.
Authorities described the attacks as 'pure acts of evil' and noted that the suspect had recently become a U.S. citizen.
The Trump administration has seized on the case, with DHS Secretary Markwayne Mullin blaming previous immigration policies for the tragedy.
A third victim remains in critical condition as investigators work to determine a motive for the seemingly unprovoked violence.
