Armenia Shifts West, Pashinyan Wins

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's pro-Europe party won parliamentary elections, solidifying the country's pivot towards the West and away from Russia.

The results give Pashinyan a mandate for Armenia’s balanced pro-West course, despite threats from Moscow and claims of Russian interference.

The EU has also promised millions of euros to ease pressure from Russian sanctions.
