The Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope (shortened as the Roman Space Telescope, Roman, or RST) is a future NASA infrared space telescope in development and scheduled to launch to a Sun–Earth L2 orbit in Sept 2026. It is named after former NASA Chief of Astronomy Nancy Grace Roman.
