Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed is an American politician and epidemiologist who is the Democratic nominee in the 2026 United States Senate election in Michigan. A progressive member of the Democratic Party, El-Sayed was a candidate in the 2018 Michigan gubernatorial election, placing second to Gretchen Whitmer in the Democratic primary.
