Rhodri Talfan Davies
British television executive
Rhodri Talfan Davies is a Welsh media executive, and the Deputy Director-General of the BBC. He joined the BBC board in February 2026 as an executive director, a position he held alongside being interim Director-General of the BBC from 3 April to 17 May 2026. He was the director of BBC Cymru Wales from 2011 to 2020. He is a former journalist and communications executive.
