Golders Green is a suburb in the London Borough of Barnet in north West London, 5.6 miles (9 km) northwest of Charing Cross. Its historical origins lie in a medieval small suburban linear settlement that was sited near a farm and public grazing area green. The bulk of Golders Green forms a late Victorian/early Edwardian suburb centered on a commercial crossroads, the rest being of a later build.
