Sabastian Sawe credits second place runner after smashing marathon record

Kenyan distance runner Sabastian Sawe pulled off a feat that was long considered unthinkable, winning the London Marathon on Sunday in a time of 1 hour, 59 minutes and 30 seconds.

He said he had no idea he was going to beat the fabled 2-hour barrier until the last minute of the race and credited second place runner Yomif Kejelcha for pushing him to achieve the feat.
