Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israeli forces had crossed the Litani River in southern Lebanon and were operating in Beirut and the Bekaa Valley, in what he described as a “tactical victory”.
This comes after Netanyahu said he ordered the Israeli military to take control of 70% of the Gaza Strip.
