Two Jewish-owned bakeries attacked in Toronto; police release image of vehicle involved

Two more Jewish-owned businesses were attacked over the weekend.

On Monday, police released an image of a suspect vehicle believed to be connected to the incidents at the two bakeries in the city.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Mark Carney said he’s appalled at the targeting of the stores, adding that “Canada’s government is absolute in our commitment to combatting the scourge of antisemitism.”

As Caryn Lieberman reports, members of the Jewish community are expressing outrage, and so are several city councillors.
