Protests in La Paz, Bolivia, turned violent as anti-government sentiment continues to rise.
Miners are demanding the resignation of President Rodrigo Paz who took office only six months ago.
They see his government at the centre of the economic issues that the country is facing which include fuel shortages, energy production decline and a shortage of US dollars.
The miners protesting were also joined by farmers and other disgruntled workers.
