Moment paraglider and plane collide in skies over Alps

This is the moment a woman collided with an aircraft while paragliding over the Alps in Austria.

The 44-year-old woman posted the video of the incident, which happened over Piesendorf, to her Instagram page later, with the caption: "I can't quite believe I'm still sitting here typing this and that, apart from a few nasty bruises and some general contusions, nothing really happened."

In a statement, Salzberg Police said both parties were uninjured, and that the "experienced" paraglider managed to deploy her reserve parachute and make an emergency landing.

The plane pilot, 28, was unable to avoid the collision in time, the statement added.
