Sanctioned Tanker Carrying Iranian Oil Attempts to Cross Hormuz

Yuri, a US-sanctioned supertanker carrying 2 million barrels of Iranian crude loaded from Kharg Island, appeared to be attempting to cross the Strait of Hormuz on Friday.

Traffic through the waterway is otherwise at a virtual standstill.
