Ireland head coach Scott Bemand is adamant the 26-7 loss to France in the Women’s Six Nations is not a set-back for the squad.

Ireland came to Clermont with aspirations of a first-ever championship win on French soil but were outclassed by a superior home team in the second half in front of an attendance of 17,000 at a sold-out Stade Marcel-Michelin.
