A shooting in Montreal's Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood left a police officer, a civilian and the suspected gunman dead on Monday.
Police said the suspect opened fire with a long gun near a hotel and targeted officers responding to the scene.
A second officer, who was seriously injured, is in a stable condition.
The gunman was shot dead by police, while the motive and the circumstances surrounding the civilian's death remain under investigation. #worldnow
