Kevin Lamour sacked from FIFA after publicly criticising Infantino's plan
FIFA has reportedly sacked the organisation chief operating officer, who last month, published scathing criticism of Gianni Infantino's now-shelved plan to sell a stake in the World Cup to private equity.
Frenchman Kevin Lamour has now departed the world football governing body, which was confirmed by FIFA on Monday.
The FIFA president is still holding on though despite a wave of opposition from UEFA and other confederations and a growing number of member countries.
